2010 Annapolis Bay Country Century

If you are currently preregistered and are in the Annapolis area and want to streamline the check-in process on Saturday, you can pick up your event bag, wrist band, t-shirt and sign the waiver at the Annapolis Bike Doctor on Jennifer Road (behind the Annapolis Mall) between 6-8 pm on Thursday September 2nd. Although the BikeReg is closed for this event, if you are not pre-registered, you can also register at Bike Doctor for $35 and save the $5 fee same day fee. Then on game day, you can just "show and go"!

The Annapolis Bay Country Century offers a fully sagged tour of the Chesapeake Bay's western shore. There are rest-stops to enjoy the scenery and to refuel, clearly marked routes with easy to read cue sheets, bike mechanics to assist you and back by popular demand...the Post Ride PARTY!!! Celebrate finishing the ride, whether it is the full century or a portion of it, with music, food and friends! A portion of the proceeds benefit the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the St. Leonard Fire Department.

Help Promote the New Maryland 3 Foot Law
Earlier this summer, the Maryland legislature passed a law requiring all cars to leave a three foot buffer when passing a cyclist. The law goes into effect on October 1, 2010. The Annapolis Bike Racing Team, hosts of the Annapolis Bay Country Century, are partnering with local cycling advocacy groups to help promote awareness of this new law for both drivers and riders.

Event Registration and Information

Registration is open from 7-9 AM. All riders, even those pre-registered, must appear at registration to sign a standard LAB waiver. Save $5.00 and register before August 1, 2010! After August 1st registration will be $35.00.

Helmets must be worn by ALL participants. Event is held rain or shine. No refunds.
