Annapolis Bay Country Century is This Saturday
The 15th annual Annapolis Bay Country Century is this Saturday starting at Northen High School in Owings, MD. If you are currently preregistered and are in the Annapolis area and want to streamline the check-in process on Saturday, you can pick up your event bag, wrist band, t-shirt and sign the waiver at the Annapolis Bike Doctor on Jennifer Road (behind the Annapolis Mall) between 6-8 pm on Thursday September 2nd.
Although the BikeReg is closed for this event, if you are not pre-registered, you can also register at Bike Doctor for $35 and save the $5 fee same day fee.

ABRT at the Superior Bike Fest Omnium
Jim Johnson provided daily e-mail updates as he raced the Superior Bike Fest Omnium in Michigan. These have been consolidated into this report.
New ABRT Member Tim Shaffer Clinches Greenbelt "B" Series
Wednesday August 25th was the last Greenbelt Series race of the year. Once the final race was scored and the points for the series added up, new ABRT member Tim Shaffer, now a member of the elite development team, had clinched the B series. Tim did this despite being upgraded to a cat 3 part way through the season, and shifting over to the "A" series. His lead in the B series was enough that despite not racing the last few he still won the series. Tim's strength has already been evident in the A series where he has finished as high as 3rd in his first few A races.
